I have worked with technology in various fields of the electronic and telecom industries. I am originally from Denmark and I speak fluent English, Danish, Swedish, Norwegian and conversational German. My abilities to lead, teach and communicate have helped me implement and run information technology projects that involved structured data/voice networks, systems for telecom backbones and applications for workgroups. Since 1988 I have been professionally involved with technically advanced computer systems and electronics.

2000-03: CEO of Data Link Pacific, Inc. in Hawaii, Information Technology Solution Provider. Responsible for creating the corporation, establishing the bridgehead, creating awareness in the market with reference sites, product development and start up in general.

 

1997-2000: Area/Project Manager for Data Link Telecom A/S, developer, integration and distributor of Communication Systems and Computer Telephony Integration (CTI). Responsible for establishing and maintaining a network of large account resellers in Scandinavia (Denmark, Sweden, Norway & Finland).

 

1996-97: Sales Representative for Daimler Denmark A/S, distributor of computer add-on products to 400 retail stores. Responsible for sales, product merchandising and space management with focus on memory/storage, processors and PC-card products.

 

1996: Partner in R@msus Data, reseller of Information Technology to small/medium businesses. Engaged during the startup phase with establishing the business and implementing a structure into what became R@msus Data. The business was profitable and sold to the competitor before the end of the year.


1995-96: Sales Representative for ComputerStore A/S, mail order reseller of Information Technology to small/medium businesses. Responsible for selling networking and server products to selected accounts. I was elected chairman of the internal quality team deploying workgroup applications and educating staff.

 

1994-95: Large Account Manager for Farnell Electronic Services, Intel System Division. Responsible for selling Intel System Platforms (Intel’s own line of PC’s and Servers) to selected resellers in Denmark focusing on large businesses and government accounts. I assisted resellers in pre-sales, tradeshows, campaigns, seminars and closing sales opportunities.

 

1988-94: Sales Trainee/Representative for RS Components/Radio-Parts, Electronic component wholesaler. Initially Trainee for two years, then with internal sales for two years and the fifth year preparing a 1400 page product catalog, at the time the largest single publication in Denmark. I was a member of the Board of The Personnel Union.

 

Other Experience:

 

I have lived in and traveled to most western European countries. I also spent three months in Nepal and Thailand, visited the US mainland, the Philippines and Tokyo.

 

2000:  Twilight Zone Copenhagen, a nonprofit multimedia workshop for versatile youth supported by Copenhagen Cultural Development. Assisting the project management and teaching crew to work with tools and structuring data networks.

 

1996:  Project X, a nonprofit Hip-Hop sub-culture project supported by the Danish Social Authorities. I was a freelance teacher and counselor working with multi-ethnic teenagers creating multimedia on computers, teaching them how to create music & videos.

 

1988-91:  Owned & ran Roxy Mobile Discotheque, a road show with three DJ’s. As I love music I became a skilled DJ. The business was sold after three years of operation.
